Love it! This is the perfect ______! * Softness * Durability (I know) * Posture/Angle * Lateral Support * Balance Made from soft but washable fabric I really can't say enough good things about it. Based on my theoretical statement, my personal experience and a single anecdote; If you have a sore back and wheeze while sitting on it in bed, you can actually help align your spine into a more natural curve than it would on a "hard" chair or plush sofa. (I'm not a doctor, just took a prep course and know what the shape of the spine should be. Please don't take this advice without a pinch of salt.) That said, your upper back is pretty flat in relation to your lower Your back is arched in the slight, regular curve that *most* people are best aligned with. What I'm trying to say is that the bottom or top half of the padding doesn't wear out very quickly, but the flat back structure wears away, creating an inverted S-shape that mimics our natural alignment. If you're not comfortable with that, then ignore my experience. I'm just trying to help anyone in pain and seeking practical comfort.
