I needed a new mouse/desk mat a few months ago and this week it finally broke. It was a great deal, the palm rests were practically free as this pad sold for around the same price as similar ones. I was glad the box was labeled in German because "made in China" sounds so much better when followed by "German engineering." But I didn't expect it to be anything more than a mouse pad/charger and I was surprised to see a receipt with a QR code offering to download the app. for a mouse pad? Well, not only that, the app (available for free on the Play Store) syncs with the tablet as an IOT device, giving me full control over the LED accent lighting, I can change colors, speed and brightness. There are dozens of pre-programmed multicolor templates to download. But that's nothing compared to the musical function. yes, music. So there are 2 modes, device or local. Device mode uses music played on the device running the app, while local mode enables a small microphone on the charging pad. As a result, the light bar reacts to the music picked up by the microphone and dances with different intensities and pulses in sync with the music. So doping! I had no idea he did it and I think it's pretty cool. The charger is fast for my Pixel 3, not as fast as the OEM brick but it's not. It also charges my AirPods, although the charging area is limited by the Qi logo. but it's normal. little trouble finding it when everything else is pretty damn cool!
