Suitable for Iphone 11 plus OtterBox case

I was really looking forward to this stabilizer. When it finally arrived, I opened it up and started following everyone around the house like crazy, trying to figure it out and getting comfortable. Initially I had some balance problems in the case but it was all my fault. After figuring out how to use the gimbal properly, I've rarely had balance issues with an iPhone 11 in an OtterBox case. When I was looking for a gimbal, being able to store my phone in a case was an absolute requirement. I won't be doing videography and am very picky about my phones so it should always be in a bag. I wanted this because I have experience in videography and wanted something quick and easy to record various indoor and outdoor events. This gimbal allowed me to store my iPhone 11 in an OtterBox and it worked great. However, as I mentioned, I had some balance issues and when I encountered this I decided to try other gimbals, thinking I would have to take the phone out of the case to really use it successfully. . While Gimbal itself is great and I really enjoy using it, the wireless charging feature is a huge asset, but I really don't like the app and just can't turn it down. The application has the following critical bugs that eventually caused me to crash this particular stabilizer. 1. It doesn't save settings when I change them. For example, if I change it from 1080p 30fps to 1080p 60fps, it switches back to 30fps in the middle of use (not while recording, but while recording is paused). So the end result is that one shot of my kid in the park is very smooth and the next one is jittery because the app lost its settings2. Sometimes video is recorded with no sound, or the video gets really distorted and sounds extremely compressed (think very early 2000's internet video) or like it was filmed with a very weak unidirectional microphone. One feature of the app that I really LOVE about this app, at least on the iPhone - I can't say about Android, if you record a video, if you press the button in the middle of the jog dial, it will do it a photo. So you can record your child in the petting zoo and collect all experiences in one video and also take really cool pictures when your child makes something sweet. This cover is also very good. Unlike other devices, it really protects the stabilizer. One downside to the case is that you'll have to reverse the balance settings to get it securely locked in place, but that literally means extending the arm in and out a very small distance. doesn't matter much. Ultimately, the application was the cause of the demise of this gimbal. Like I said, I need something quick and easy. If my kid wants to do something sweet, I don't want to bother reconfiguring it so the video doesn't have high doses of caffeine and I miss my kid doing what they did. In this case I might as well not use the gimbal and just do it handheld (because the gimbal doesn't connect to the native iOS camera app) as the native iOS app is better than the no configuration app. If they can fix the bugs in the app, this would be a very solid winner in the gimbal line.
