As for the monitor, the screen is acceptable. It's not as sharp, bright, or color accurate as other panels I've had in this price range, but I like it because it has the added touchscreen functionality. pen input. Let me rephrase: a capacitive touch stylus will work, but the monitor's response is too slow to be used in a practical way. If you try to draw a line from one corner of the monitor to the other, the line is either incomplete or it takes a few seconds to draw. Even when lines are drawn, they only vaguely follow the path mapped out by the pen. It does NOT replace a graphics tablet, not even remotely. Obviously the pressure sensitivity isn't great for this panel, but it doesn't even work for drawing or writing simple lines in Paint or Photoshop. If you need this monitor so you can use your fingers to scroll, click, etc, it works great. Anything beyond that is disappointing. The stand is nice and solid, and positioning the monitor to switch to a more horizontal "tablet" mode works fairly well. Too bad you can't use it as a tablet by placing it in this position.
