Review on Womens Summer Pajamas Burgundy Drawstring by Lynn Martinez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Warm, comfortable and well made, but totally overpriced!

My wife's pajamas were starting to wear out so she decided to change them. She was delighted with the comfortable 100% cotton pajamas, so she ordered gray winter pajamas. polyester blend. My cutie was always upbeat and claimed that a good wash would remove the shiny shine, which she did. The big test came when she slept in it that first night. Although tightly knitted for warmth, they don't sweat like synthetics, which is why they passed the fabric content test. We also found these pajamas to be well tailored. The cut is neat and clean. The stitching is probably the most precise we've seen, no question. Neckline and sleeves are reinforced. All seams are neatly finished with a stitch that doesn't look like it will catch and bleed. The fabric is quite thick and of excellent quality that should last a long time. The set fits perfectly - not too tight and not too loose. My wife said they were surprisingly comfortable, even around the pockets, which were smooth and firmly sewn to the waistband. It was nice to have a tagless collar on a shirt, but the spot where the tag was near the waist was a little annoying. We were surprised that these winter pajamas had 3/4 sleeves and no sleeves that reached her wrists. This may be fine for women with short arms, but not so good for women with medium to long arms when they want to be warm. The gray color she ordered was a bit blah. If we had to do it again, I would advise her to go for a more attractive burgundy. It would be nice if they came in other colors like pastel blue, green or pearls. The only real objection was the price. Even considering the quality of these pajamas and the fact that they came with a nice drawstring pouch (completely unnecessary), this set is NOT worth nearly $70 list price at the time of this review! Maybe $20 to $30, not triple a pair of pajamas.
