I bought a very large strap a while ago but have since lost some weight and didn't need as much overlap so I decided to order a large one as they are non-scratch and non-metal have belts and you can adjust them exactly where you want when I got the large it was 2 inches longer than the XL at about 50 1/2 inches and it also had a lot more "feminine" velcro straps than I wanted . This isn't the end of the world as you can cut it open and add a few stitches at the end to keep the lady's velcro from going back through your belt loops and melting back the nylon, but who really wants to do that.
