Good light! for lighting and ceiling fans
My wife likes "warm white" (or yellowish) lamps, so I went for these. They are nice and bright (3W LEDs per strip) and look great in my kitchen. Unbeknownst to me, my wife doesn't want cords and cables. Having a power cord, then a brick, then a dimmer, then a plug adapter is too much. Adding to this my cabinets have 3 different runs and I decided to make two chains of 4 strips each and power each half with 8 AA batteries in a box tucked under the cabinets. My drawing shows the left and right halves powered by separate power supplies.
