This wooden swing is very colorful and durable. I was very pleased to see the quality was as high as it is. The rope has a thick braid and a synthetic material that won't peel off your hands like it used to. The smaller, brightly colored discs are made of thick plastic and come in bright colors. A larger seat or stand for a rope swing has a light texture and thick plastic. There is enough space for the child to stand up or wrap their legs around and rock. The tree strap has several items that are included in the package. There's a softer gray element to protect the branch, as well as a heavy-duty nylon D-ring strap that hooks onto the tree. This is how I attached mine to our tree. It was very easy and reliable. Another option is a D-ring with a carabiner. There are extremely thick bolts that can be used to fasten structures or concrete. There are four screws in total. Two of these are of the type used for the concrete. The other two are thick screws that can be used in a wooden playground. I didn't have the construction to use a hook like this and to be honest I prefer it when kids have soft grass underneath. Rope swings are so much fun! Children can climb and swing on it. I like that it's something they can use easily and they can improve their gross motor skills. I love how strong and durable the materials are. It looks like a secure device that has been well thought out.
