The hamster choked on it!

This product must also be sold with a hamster coffin. My son got two hamsters for Christmas. I went to his room to check on them before going to bed and one of them (Shanika) got caught in a metal ring and hanged herself. It was traumatic for the hamster and me. I was able to grab her, rush to the garage, my husband tried unsuccessfully to cut the wire. I pierced her little hamster's foot and we were able to free her from the chain! This is a TERRIBLE design! I can't believe she's alive right now and is probably brain damaged. instead of a hammock, make it a banana sofa with a chain - you need to remove this chain as soon as possible.
