This tiered dessert tray is larger and sturdier than I expected. (I photographed it next to a standard wine bottle to show the scale.) What's especially nice is how it's stored at the bottom. I gave away a few at the dessert auction and they were much better than the cardboard styles and significantly cheaper than the ceramic or glass tiered trays. There were also more cookies, cupcakes on the trays than I was hoping for and with the raised rim they don't slide off. I chose to put tissue paper in there because if your cookie or cake pieces have crumbs that come loose, they'll pool and get stuck where the center rack attaches, which can look pretty rough. But with whole cupcakes, that's no problem. It can be washed and reused multiple times, but I can find that if you overtighten the pins (like stripping a screw) over time, the plastic threads can wear out. However, if you don't tighten them firmly, the trays will wobble and rotate. A great product for the price and for my purposes.
