Bought this hat because I wanted to better protect my face from the sun when kayaking, especially as I had to take a photo for a new driver's license next Monday and didn't want to show sunburn. Not only did it protect my whole face from the sun and sun damage, it's a really cool looking hat! At first the back of the cap would rub against my life jacket every time I paddled, but that was because I was wearing it. too low at the back. He eventually corrected himself and I had no problems with him after that. There is an adjustable strap that I was able to tighten under my chin so it doesn't come loose when the wind starts to blow. As I pushed my kayak the hat fell off (it didn't have a chin strap) but it floated in the water until I managed to pick it up. It dries very quickly! A kayaking hat is highly recommended!
