I LOVED them and hung them on my tree with white lights behind them (because when it was THAT I loved the effect but my mom said it looked like the tree was on fire and my boyfriend said "oh, look it's Christmas time in hell" When I first plugged them in I thought I had 2 blown bulbs, but I pulled these bubbles a little tighter and tapped them lightly and they popped right out. Be careful. Think of them like old school bubbles, sometimes they just need to be plugged in properly.You can buy individual replacement bulbs at Walmart if you accidentally bust one, but right now they're $7.99 (the price has gone up throughout the season and fallen) so it's actually cheaper to buy spare filament and just store it than buy 10 bulbs and I think next time I'll put together an initial order They have little tension hooks on the side of each bulb cup which are at least somewhat but not ideal for keeping bulbs straight upright, I think I'll pack l little alligators or some exciting bobby pins from the hardware store before I wear them next year and hot glue on the bottom of each small piece just to make sure everything is PERFECT.
