The tripod feels solid even with large lenses. The movements of the head are different from others that you need to get used to. I'm used to a literal bar that you hold and twist, but this one works a little differently. You just move the camera. It's easier that way, but when you've done it differently for 30 years, it's a new way of thinking. Converting to a monopod is convenient because you don't have to carry both, but the process takes a minute. If I know I need a quick transition from trio to mono, I still take both with me. In general I am satisfied, especially for the money. It's not my full time job right now so I'll be posting hundreds on a tripod. If I used it on the spot 8 hours a day and threw it around a lot and really abused it, I'm not sure how long it would last. But time will tell, but for me as a side job. It is beautiful and I suspect it will stay with me for a long time.
