*Update*. My cat still loves it even with a little bulge on top. Now her new kitten brothers are taking over so I'm going to buy another one for her. I hope this set arrives properly but I will say it has held up to all 3 cats and they love the Fluffy Dangling Ball which is the only hanging toy that has not come loose and chipped unlike other similar items, that I have. I tried. I definitely recommend this item. I like that it's very easy to assemble and very easy to fold up and take with you on a trip, to a hotel or somewhere else, but I have to say it's a bit flimsy. The upper has a fabric-covered cardboard "support" that goes under the pillow at the top, but will definitely sag under the weight of the cats. She only weighs 10 pounds and is 1 year old but after some hesitation over the top some catnip sprinkled on it helped her stay there for a few days. Realizing it wasn't going to succumb, she now loves the top. She likes to bend over and grab a hanging fluffy ball. At first she liked the lower entrance and slept there a lot, but now she only uses the upper one. I think that's because the sagging at the top gives her less headroom at the bottom, but when we bring her new kitty home I'm sure they'll be using both, especially when playing. I also added a curved scratching post to the set as it was rarely used on its own but now that I propped it up off the side of the step/toy box he uses it a lot more. It came in good condition, it wasn't "new" like I paid for. I clearly received someone's returned items, they were haphazardly wrapped in unsealed plastic with no paperwork for care instructions or anything washable. This bothered me as I was given a choice between new and used and settled on new and obviously got one that someone else is already using as the top sags from the start. But when my cat looked at it and started hanging on to it I left it to avoid the hassle of returns which I don't usually do but needed something for her as I just got rid of her old cat house.
