Ideal for sewing quilts
I have several ยผ inch sewing feet, but this is the only foot that has a needle hole that allows me to slide it to a precise seam allowance. I can line a needle marked red ยผ inch or slightly to the right for a narrow seam allowance, which I prefer for curved seams.
