Review on Westinghouse Lighting 7840900 Industrial 56-Inch Three-Blade Ceiling Fan - Powerful Cooling Solution with Easy J-Hook Installation, White by Wendy Williams

Installation was easy and works great. As others have pointed out, the wall-mounted speed controller looks like something from the Cold War, so I replaced it with a Lutron three-stage controller (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0000BYEFA/ref= oh_details_o01_s00_i00? ie=UTF8&psc=1). I keep it at medium speed because low speed is very slow and high speed is a bit distracting. Doesn't seem to be a way to reverse the fan. One note: it was difficult to balance using traditional wooden blade techniques. Couldn't get the weights to make much of a difference somewhere in the middle of any of the three blades. I almost gave up, but as a last resort I tried weighting down the very ends of two of the three blades and viola! it is perfectly balanced. Doesn't wobble a bit.
