Purchased to be used as hand luggage when traveling through Europe later this year. Had a chance to use it for a week visiting friends a few weeks ago. It was the perfect size for various items that you don't need in your suitcase or that are too big for your purse. I've used it for kindle, ipod and charger, various chargers in a small zippered pouch, meds, crochet and I had free storage. Inside the back is a large Velcro pocket perfect for 8.5 x 11 magazines or office paper. You could probably fit a small laptop in there too. Another smaller inner pocket with zip. Two outside pockets which we didn't get to use but will be on our trip later this year. The long strap is detachable and long enough to carry a shoulder bag. I'm 5'4" and wear bags low, this strap still had room when it was where I like it. I wasn't sure about the shorter handles as I've never been a fan of this style, but i thought i could use them to toss my rolling luggage at the airport and they are actually long enough to wear over my shoulder i love this brand the workmanship is top notch the materials are durable the handbag, which I've worn for years is easy to clean - I just unload it and wash it on the gentle cycle of my front-loading washing machine and let it air dry.
