I have to comment on this food because I bought it for my 19 year old OLD CAT. She got to the point where she stopped eating and turned into a complete skeleton. My daughter walked in and saw her and got scared and said Tammy looked like death. She could barely walk and did not fall often, as the elderly sometimes do. I fed her Rachel Ray's good food but Tammy just wasn't interested. So I had to do something so I ordered this Blue Kitten Healthy Growth food thinking it would have more calories and taste better as they developed it to give kittens better nutrition to survive. . Well, of course, enough, she went crazy over it. So I just wanted to let the readers of the Revain review know that kitten food is not only good for kittens, but also for debilitated, elderly and cats who also need extra nutrition. By the way, Tammy is a very small boned cat, has always been about 5 pounds soaked. So if a person has a skinny cat, kitten food is a great way to gain weight.
