It's a little bigger than I thought it would be, but the upside is that it has slots on one side where I keep boarding passes, luggage tag receipts, etc. The "money clip" or silver clip is designed to be a money clip. But I kept mine and placed my passport cover under the clip. Very sure. And with this arrangement, I can still access the front page to slip into Global Entry machines without taking out my passport. The only time I had to take my passport off (in Germany for security staff to put a sticker) the money clip was very difficult to remove. he is very tight. I think if you use it as a money clip you could only carry a dollar in it because it is very tight to open. All in all a very pleasant product.
