I was very concerned about purchasing this skirt; There was a lot of feedback that it was too transparent and I didn't want that. I ended up buying it simply because it was so beautiful and I'm very glad I did. a thick, all-white overlay is attached, so everything is fine. I can carry it to work so no one can look through it. I'm 5'5" and 178 lbs. I ordered xlarge and it fits great. However, it's a little long, but not long enough to be a problem. If I were a little smaller, maybe too long. If you If you're looking for something that hugs your buttocks, hips and thighs while showing off your figure, this skirt isn't for you.It's gathered at the waist and gently flows over these areas.If you're looking for a more modest look and your but don't want to flaunt this is a good skirt. Other than that I wouldn't call them sloppy. If I could describe this skirt in one word it would be flowy. , flowy skirts. This is a kind of skirt with a wide, rounded brim that's great for twirling around in. As I walk, little waves of fabric in a silky, lightweight material ripple around my legs I've done the unthinkable: I've machined it with feathers washed and dried. You can see the result in the photos below and how they hold up. This is just a wash, we'll see how it holds up. I will definitely order another pair in different patterns.
