I was looking for cheap wired headphones to use with my Linux gaming machine. That's what this one is good for. It's comfortable (although I wish the headphones had a little more play), works with Linux, the sound is okay (we're not talking Bose here), as is the noise-cancellation. I wore it for up to five hours and felt no discomfort. I like the volume control and mute button on the cord. The only thing I found odd and inconvenient was having to plug the USB into an independent power source to turn on the headset backlight. It will not work when plugged into one of the computer's USB ports.
