Review on 🚿 Stainless Steel Wall Mounted Corner Shower Caddy for Bathroom, Polished Chrome - HANEABTH by Angelina Collins

Good build quality but imperfect design

Appears to be well made. Good finish here. However, I decided against it for two reasons: the logo is ugly and the corner is welded on. The ugliness of the logo speaks for itself. It is engraved in an ugly font on the front and in the center of the bow. Sure it's etched, not printed, so it's a little less visible, but to me it's obvious, and if it were printed I could erase it. I could have foreseen the welded corner before ordering, but I didn't think about it. There's a reason many other corner baskets don't have a rim in the corner to make room for a corner joint or shower head. Since there is a welded corner here that reaches a full 90 degrees, it interferes with the jointing of the corners in my shower and therefore the sides do not sit flat against the walls. I seriously doubt I can get it to hug the walls snugly due to the solid construction, so I assume there will always be a 2-bolt gap between the basket and the wall. It also means you can't use any of the rounded inside corner profiles from companies like Schluter, as those radii are much larger than plain grout. They did a good job but shot themselves in the knee twice. in developing this. Note that since I haven't installed it I can't comment on the quality of the stainless steel and therefore rust resistance. (There's nothing worse than "stainless steel" rusting.)
