Review on Neewer 9x13ft Muslin Photography Backdrop Green Screen with 3 Clamps - Ideal for Photo Studio by Reggie Hobbs

We recently moved and there was no space in the new location to paint a large wall Chroma Key Green so I got this to get basically the same results . Bottom Gear is usually decent for the price (although some items may or may not be - some items MUST be expensive because they cost a lot to make). This muslin fabric is difficult to categorize as it is good and heavy; has a "tunnel" sewn into the hanging rod at one end; and appears to be a fairly consistent color overall with some minor/manageable color variations here and there. That's the good part. The Bad: They claim to fold it in a way that minimizes the appearance of creases before shipping. It looked like it hadn't been folded due to being returned etc. but it's so crumpled we haven't been able to use it yet. I've had it hanging to the fullest for several weeks and not come out. I try not to iron these items as heat and humidity (even when dry) can change the consistency of the colour. Also, this size of fabric is awkward to iron at best, and if you don't floor iron it will only crumple again as you move it across the "ironing board". The folds are so deep that it is impossible to illuminate the fabric in a comfortable way - there are too many shadows in the folds of the folds and other folds, as you can see in the photos. not all and enough left to use as it is impractical. For this reason I cannot recommend this fabric and feel moderately generous with my 3 star rating. The finer muslin fabrics I have (some from Neewer I think) don't suffer from this problem as they are inherently silkier than this material which is more like a denim material. We don't use them as they are too small for our needs in this particular set. Beware the crumpled monster and buy at your own risk. I would return ours but the relay wouldn't let us hang up and find the problem until the return window closed. Maybe Niver will read this and suggest a solution. I hope so because what we have now is a waste of time and money.
