Update: I have dropped my phone on cement twice now and it was well protected. I raised my stars from two to four for this reason. In spite of the inconvenience of having to modify the ear plug hole, I would purchase again for the protection it offers.I just got my case yesterday. I loved everything about it until I tried to plug my earbuds in. The opening is too narrow so my earbuds can’t be plugged in :(. I really don’t want to modify the case by cutting into it because I know that will weaken it, but if it’s my only option, I guess that’s what I will do. I’m not interested in spending $20 to $30 on new Apple Earbuds with lightening connector because of this failure in design.
