Needs a few adjustments

I like this keyboard and mouse primarily for their design and aesthetics. However, only a week has passed since the purchase and already there are problems with the mouse. It just didn't work anymore. I read somewhere on the internet that taking the batteries out for a while would help. I did that and it really helped get it working again, but obviously it's some sort of problem that will most likely persist. Plus, it was noisy for the first few days of use, and each click felt like a spring. Passed but a little tense. I wanted to return it but I love the keyboard so much I want to keep it even if I end up using a different mouse with it. There are a few things that could be improved. too long and protruding. Compared to all the others, this one seems a bit dated. This isn't a huge issue for me as I use it at work and on my desktop and don't really see it, but I can see it might be an issue for someone with a laptop or other smaller portable device. It would be possible for it to break or get lost when moving. Something you should definitely be aware of as it renders the keyboard unusable. The keyboard keys are comfortable, not too soft and not too hard, just right and relatively quiet. The wave design makes it comfortable and ergonomic for extended use, and I love the built-in wrist rest. One thing I don't like is that the special function keys are a different size than the other letters, and to press them your fingers have to slide down and away from the rest of the keys. I have to look down to see what I'm pressing. They're also almost flat with the keyboard, which doesn't really make sense to me, but then again, these aren't primary keys, so I'm not too attached to them. I still like the keyboard and most likely I will leave it.
