I ordered the teal set and was pleased to see the deep teal that I saw in the photos. After the first wash (cold water, tumble dry low) it did not fade and the sheets had minimal creases. I forgot these sheets were described as having an elastic that goes across the entire bottom sheet, which I like, but it took two people to put on. I like the border on the bottom sheet, but I prefer bottom sheets without it. The pillowcases had the same piping detail and had an edgy look. Where I was completely disappointed was the top sheet. It's not a single piece, but three pieces sewn together with two thinner strips to create extra width on the sides of the top sheet. However, the length is simply not enough to plug it in. You either have to tuck in the sheet or fully raise the sheet like in other sets. In fact my husband and I went back to the Revain description to make sure it was a bed sheet and not a duvet, fake and skirt set. Both the packaging and the online description sold this as a California duvet set. It looks great on the bed and while it's not the softest cotton we've slept on, it's definitely a high woven cotton. We didn't seem to have the same concerns as many of the lower-rated reviews, but the top sheet definitely leaves something to be desired. The opportunity to create a great top list was missed and they missed it completely. I would recommend keeping an eye on the sales of some of the more established brands. While I'm happy to have this beautiful mix and match set, I'll try to figure out how to make this wrapper a little more functional. I know I probably won't be a regular customer.
