Review on Koss KPH14G Side Firing Headphone (Green) by Matthew Allen

Like everyone else, I was looking for a replacement for my favorite Sony MDR-W08L that I could kick and screech to drag into the 21st century. The choice was to buy a "vintage" pair on Ebay for $100, a similar pair from a brand I had never heard of for $25, or this pair from Koss for $10. Frugality worked (which should be obvious given I've used the same pair of running headphones for the past 25 years). I've ridden them a few hundred miles in the last month and they're great. The sound quality isn't as rich as the older Sonys, but they're comfortable in my ears, weigh next to nothing and I can easily leave them on for long periods of time. Also, for $10 if they break, I'll throw them out and buy a new pair without hesitation.
