I like this product! So far I've only used it on two older 17-inch flat screens, both of which weigh around 10 pounds. I had to get at least one monitor closer to read the small text on the screen. (I wear "prescription" glasses and am "myopic" [I can read well without glasses when they are close to my eyes, but even with glasses I have trouble reading small text]. Yes, I can read the writing but then ALL text gets bigger, which looks horrible on my desktop). This dual monitor stand helps me see text perfectly! Also, I can slide the screen back when I don't need to read text. Keep in mind that you need to keep the hex wrench handy, at least until you're sure the hands holding the monitors won't slip past the desired height.
