Review on Safco Products 1601BL Bookcase Shelves by Elsa Ferrell

One of the shelves arrived with visible cracks and dents. Other shelves had less noticeable dents. We had already started assembling the device before we realized it. We would have returned everything if we had understood at the beginning. But we figured we could just replace the shelf, so we went ahead and finished the install. After that I spoke to a customer service representative who told me that replacement parts were not available. As we have already picked it up, unfortunately we cannot return it. So we're stuck with a damaged product. The company does not pack this product well and it is easy to see the parts getting damaged in transit. Also, it was quite difficult as the screws didn't fit. It took two people about 4 hours. If you buy this, be sure to check all components for damage before beginning assembly.
