Review on ๐Ÿ’ป HOMEFORT Laptop Lap Desk: Ergonomic Design with Mouse Pad and Tablet Holder - Grey by Brandon Perkins

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very comfortable on the knees; The surface can be more non-slip.

This is part of my shopping spree looking for something to improve my mother's quality of life after a stroke. As I am not allowed into their facility (hopefully this will all change once I get vaccinated) this is very random as I am trying to guess what will help and hope the staff can arrange for it to be for them is working. I bought it to help her keep her crossword books. It's certainly big enough for that and light enough to hopefully hold her comfortably on her lap. It definitely felt perfect on my lap during my brief test before bringing it to her. Her OT told me the problem is that Mom can't stretch her neck down for long and doesn't support her legs well in bed, so she can't use the kneeling table often. a little slippery than I would like. It's a coarse grit for some grip, but a thin non-slip layer would be extremely useful for any angle of use. I don't know how a bean bag cushion will stand up to prolonged use; I would go with contoured foam if I could find a larger lap table with other features (like a corner strap to help hold a corner of the crossword book). General Pros: Large but very light, very comfortable, has a small shaft to prevent the device/book from sliding off the bottom without putting your hands on the surface. General disadvantages: possible wear and tear, the surface could use more friction / slip resistance.
