Review on Game console Sony PlayStation 4 1000 GB HDD, Uncharted 4 Limited Edition by Adam Woniak ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

It's not quite what I expected, overall it's ok.

I believe that it is not non-local, yes, there are elements of it, but in general it is rather a belated evolution, not non-local. If you want high-quality graphics, it is better to take a computer with two top-end video cards. Of course, there are many games that are only suitable for consoles, in which case you can think about it. But read my review on the graphics. I do not advise you to take the console before you evaluate it live. Of the games I liked so far Styx and The Last of Us. Infamous is handsome too. And all the high-profile titles like GTA 5, Watch Dogs, Battlefield, Assassin's Creed are just [censored] in terms of graphics, I'm shocked. Despite the cons, I will not sell the console. I hope they come up with something with anti-aliasing (although hopes are fading) or at least games will learn how to optimize well. Then this year there will be fighting games and a couple of interesting titles, so let's live)

Pros
  • 1. Exclusives. The Last Of Us, for example. I think there will be a lot of them . The same fighting games will soon go. Such games are immediately optimized for the console, and it’s not that they don’t have graphics problems, but in order to notice them, you need to look closely and know what to look for. And consider it no problem. 2. The gamepad is cool. The assembly is not perfect and there are other complaints, but otherwise super. You can connect ordinary wired headphones directly to it and play late without disturbing anyone. In some games, glows in the subject. Vibration is great. The sticks and buttons are comfortable and there are no complaints. The touchpad is inconvenient, but it's good that there is, definitely a plus. There is an accelerometer. 3. I personally like the design of the console. 4. In principle, there is some purely console experience, you sit down, activate the gamepad and you can play. It is clear that you can connect the computer to the TV and the same gamepad, but this is a little different. There you still need to load the OS, select the game with the mouse, and then you immediately play.
Cons
  • 1. The main drawback is the lack of smoothing. To my deep surprise, in most games (including GTA 5) small details flicker when moving a stick or a character so that they simply “spit out”. It's not just my problem, it's everyone's problem (see numerous YouTube videos). Yes, there are cool video effects, weather, magic looks wonderful. But this flickering spoils 80% of the impression. In the same GTA, it’s clearly not 60 FPS, although it doesn’t slow down, but do you expect a little more from a console for this price? 2. The interface is extremely inconvenient. In games, everything is fine, but the settings and usability of the main interface are just awful. There are practically no third-party applications. The console cannot be used as a media player. 3. The store is inconvenient (screenshots are in low quality, if any, there are almost no demo versions). PSN nickname cannot be changed, wrote some garbage like vasya84, bought a couple of games and live with such a nickname further. Although I immediately took a normal one for myself, many people have problems with this. He asks for money for the opportunity to play online, this is at a price of 2-4for games. (which is also a minus), with such a schedule. Everything is loaded from the store for a mega-long time, you need to be prepared for this, if you have 100 megabits of Internet, be prepared for 1-3 at best. Such a large company cannot repel DDOS attacks, 5 days without online services is easy. In general, service and care for users from Sony [censored]. 4. The gamepad, with all its goodness, began to creak, and after a couple of weeks, R2 became a little loose, although it was used extremely carefully. Discharges very quickly, you need to charge through the mini-USB, which you can hardly plug in. Well, it would seem that Apple has come up with magnetic chargers for a long time, then there are already a bunch of wireless ones for all sorts of smartphones. This is not the time to make such nonsense in the “nextgen console”.
