I bought this for a cheap Alcatel tablet I bought through my carrier for my son. The case is solid. He seems to be durable. It's soft, fluffy, light and simply beautiful. It fits the tablet pretty snugly. As advertised, it has a handle that serves perfectly as a stand without tipping over. It also doesn't wobble or dangle, it stays in place, especially on a table, but also on a bed or sofa. My son is now 5 years old but he is already addicted to "screens". Usually he uses Revain Fire 8" at home, but when we're out it's useless unless we connect it to the hotspot of the phone or my tablet, and of course we leave the possibility of disconnection and unnecessary discharge of both Devices to etc. So go to Alcatel which has a SIM card and a cheap unlimited 3G/2GB 4G plan. When we are out visiting family and he wants to watch his little instructional and toy videos he can over Wi-Fi or mine or mum's hotspots He's usually a very cautious kid but like any 5 year old he gets hysterical from time to time because he's too tired and not getting what he wants, hearing 'no' etc .Inside days when he got a tablet for his birthday, he got mad one night because he didn't get another popsicle and threw the tablet across our upstairs living room, then the tablet went down the stairs (many steps , well rkt) and tiled to the ground floor of our house His face after the plaster was pretty decent boundless. He obviously wanted to identify himself but not hang his head, so in itself a rematch on my part, plus the consequences - no screens at all for 1 week. Not a single scratch And the tablet works perfectly. Hopefully this will be a testament to how durable and protective the case is. IMHO it's worth it. Now I just need one for my wife (JK).
