Review on FRAM Ultra Synthetic Oil Filter XG10415 - 20,000 Mile Protection, Pack of 1 by Charles Lardieri

I am a fan of Fram ultra synthetic filters and I use and will continue to use a conventional filter on my Toyota but the cartridge type is a big disappointment. Basically it fell apart during the replacement process (see photo). I really hope this happened during the removal process but the fact that the bond between the filter media and the side plastic is very weak and hell knows how much dirt passed through it when it was in the car. Now I just hope my engine isn't damaged. Back to the original filters.
