UPDATE: I was very disappointed at first. The blanket hardly got warm, the cords of the blanket came loose too easily. Spring. The attachment of the cords must be turned so that it "clicks". Once locked it stays together and the blanket warms up nicely! I really love the blanket. It was exactly what I wanted! This blanket is very soft and feels comfortable. I like his looks. But even on the highest settings, it hardly gets hot. I suppose it might be good for those who can't if they get burned. I wanted this to be able to keep me warm rather than turning on the heater or using a heater. Another thing is that the duvet cords come undone too easily when I move, which also defeats my purpose of having a heated blanket on my bed.
