I like that this set is made of bamboo, which is more biodegradable than the usual plastic. I am overall pleased with the brush and find it does a good job of distributing oils throughout my hair so I can wash it less often. The brush doesn't do much for tangles, however. I tried using the comb to get my tangles out, and pretty soon after I got it, it snapped in two. I ended up having to purchase a different brush (sadly, made of plastic) that's more durable and that can get through my tangles sufficiently. I do still use the brush from this set after I've gotten the tangles out of my hair with my other brush, to distribute oils and help my hair look shiny. So overall, I have gotten good use out of the brush but I'm not sure if I would repurchase.
