For the price and the number of lamps I wasn't expecting much and that's exactly what I got. But they should not be used in a permanent place. I completely rewired a classic 1950's car, converting from 6 to 12 volts and using the more common T10 cartridges whenever possible. These cheap lightbulbs came in handy for checking outlets, wiring polarity, and power surges. I figured if one of these survived it could be used in the car but I had a couple of good quality bulbs which I preferred to use as they are better suited to the car and the period. Some of them have also been used for interior lighting in modern cars, and while brighter than classic incandescent bulbs, they're much dimmer than most decent LEDs on the market. They're really just oversized Christmas tree lightbulbs, and that's all they have.
