NOT waterproof good for jackets and coats
I bought this jacket for my upcoming trip to Kauai because it is waterproof and light weight. I wore it to try it out on a walk in very light rain and was very disappointed that it's not waterproof at all. My shirt was definitely damp. I purposely made the jacket waterproof so I wouldn't get wet on day walks. This is the perfect lightweight windbreaker, but not for the rain.
