I bought this CF card reader to download image files from my Nikon D 800 to my Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Since the Nikon D 800 image files are so large that they are 90MB in size, my laptop would take 2 minutes to load each image. So I bought this card reader that comes with a USB 3 to USB adapter and I downloaded this Android app, a USB media explorer that loads images into Adobe Lightroom cc. I upload it to my phone, it takes less than two seconds per image and it's the fastest way to upload large images I've found. And now notice that I am uploading raw image files. This is very different from regular JPEG if you don't know. But I'm very happy with this card reader and it also makes it easy for my clients to show the images I've created on my phone or tablet.
