I have a small golden retriever who weighs only about 55 pounds and the LG fits her very well. It dangles a bit but that suits me. If she were a man this could be a problem as there would be a risk of him urinating on his shirt but the environment would probably be too small for her. I bought a medium for my other dog and it was a little big for him. Similar to what I said about my other dog, if he were a slut I could get away with a psychic but he will piss on the hem of his sweater. Its measurements are 18 inches from neck to base of tail, and chest is 24 inches. I hope these measurements help someone find the right size for their pup. Anytime I buy him a shirt from Petco or PetSmart, I always buy a medium, so I figured the medium here would work for him too. I have a third dog, a shih tzu/poodle mix. I didn't buy him any of those sweaters because I already found him a pair of pajamas that I was in love with. If I bought him one here I would have to order a very small one, but at PetSmart and Petco I always buy him a small one. So it seems that they are a size bigger here than in big stores. I will definitely be buying from this company in the future as the quality is great for the price!
