I already have a comfortable blanket, so I know it's a pleasure to own and wear. I wanted to share the love and give the same to a close relative. My darling is crazy when it comes to her dog! It's all about this little figurine and when I saw the image of a woman with her dog in it I was blown away! I thought how much fun she would have rolling this out in front of the whole family on Christmas morning. She has a great sense of humor so it must have been a lot of fun! Unfortunately, they missed the mark with the packaging of this item. It wasn't folded neatly in a pretty zipped bag with this funny photo on it. It was packed in a cellophane bag. There was no picture. There is no literature. Just a wearable blanket. Without this photo you have to explain to the recipient what it is or this large open bucket bag will look odd. From my photos you can see that without a dog, this bag is quite striking. When I wear it I can't see my legs when I look down. I just look in the bag. A velcro or zipper to close the bag when not in use would be a nice addition. The fabric is nice and soft. While not as thick as mine, it's still thick enough to be warm. The hood is oversized but should stay in place unless you're out in the wind or out for a run, and again it's nice and warm. I haven't washed this one but I have washed the other one many times and am always amazed at how easy it is to clean. Spills come out easily and completely. Overall I would give the clothes themselves 3-1/2 stars. I would probably rate it higher if there were no other comparison. I'm rounding it down because of the packaging instead of rounding up, which is underwhelming for a gift. I hope my review was helpful to you!
