Works exactly as expected. I used this for an old analogue receiver without a dedicated subwoofer output. It has breathed new life into System 2.0 with powerful but old technology. The connectors on the device are 18 gauge and a bit flimsy, but to be expected. You can just strip them a little further so you have more wire to work with and connect them to your existing speaker wire. Follow the directions on the card inside the box and literally look at the positive and negative labels on the box. That's not difficult. But it's also not perfectly color-coordinated, as most people might expect. If you're careful what you're doing, the entire setup takes 10 minutes or less when using a home audio device. Can last longer if you use it as a converter in your car stereo.
