Off. The bottom elastic is too high to be effective. It doesn't even go past my mid-joint. The skin reaches into my hand, pushing the guard off my finger. Also, the edge of the bottom rubber, which is burned to keep it from unraveling, is cut longer than the edge of the leather. It's sharp on the side of my finger and stings my skin painfully. I can't imagine working with something that constantly annoys me. My review only addresses these above issues but the following doesn't help: I'm a visual person so when I ordered I thought I'd get both. Finger guards together in one package because I thought of what is shown in the picture and not the words in the caption that clearly say this sale is for the finger guard only. Show both in the inset photo and state in the description that they are sold separately. This is fine, but at least just do the finger guard in the main photo. I wouldn't pay that price for just one if I paid more attention to the title than the picture. I will not buy a proper thumb guard because it just doesn't work. I hope I can return this item for a refund.
