I ordered this because due to the nature of the leather and the dye used I have had similar belts over the past century. It seems to be the same strong and durable type. However, I worry that the buckle will be the weak link. It seems flimsy compared to him. At the moment the metal is pretty strong, but it seems a little thin. The metal coil surrounding the buckle is also too big for the buckle it attaches to. I would happily pay more for a heavier buckle that I know will last as long as leather.
