Excellent theory. But of the two blocks, one stopped working after a charge or two. I bought these in August and stopped playing games for a while so I only needed them for a charge or a few. But it's January 2021 and I'm ready to play again but my computer is complaining that the cable is broken and that there is a power surge on that port. That's enough, I switched to my wall adapter. The PSU starts making a grinding noise like it's working very hard and starts to heat up. I don't think I use this cable anymore. The other cable works first,
