Very cheaply made, doesn't last long

I ordered this table for my son as homeschooling is all the rage right now. It took some time, but it was to be expected. When it arrived I assembled it and immediately noticed that the legs are not exactly the same length, so no matter where I put it, the table will rock. Okay, that's easily fixed by putting something under a leg or two. Then I had my 5 year old start using it. With slight pressure from him, writing with a pencil on a piece of paper, deep scratches remain on the table surface. The wood and the surfaces are too soft. Then today my wife opened the lid and the rod holding it open got stuck. She tried to gently close it and the screws that held it to the bottom of the lid came loose. It's all in the first week or have a table. It's cheaply made and definitely not built to last. I would look elsewhere if you need a kids table that you want to use.
