When I started using it my acne didn't get better it got worse and the areas of my skin where there wasn't acne got really really rough with painless , but very pronounced small bumps. I ended up just going to a dermatologist and she said the product was "more holistic" and she "believed in science" and then she wrote me a prescription for tretinoin and advised me to use benzoyl peroxide facial cleanser. I trust science, we should all trust science, but I think that after nearly six years of severe acne and using benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, tretinoin, retina - anything that sounds like a harsh chemical is actually...I Was hoping a holistic approach to this product would work but didn't and now I'm back to chemicals. Now it's just an expensive shower gel that I'm trying to use up. At least it smells good. Something like sprites.
