Good lightbulb, if you adjust the brightness you can't hear anything.
This lamp is quiet over the entire dimming range. Unlike some previous bulbs, mine only buzzed at maximum brightness. The sphere is evenly opaque and emits an evenly warm light. The only issue some might have is that the icing is thin enough that you can see the glowing filament.
