Review on ๐Ÿ–ฑ๏ธ Corsair Harpoon RGB Wireless SLIPSTREAM Technology Gaming Mouse with 10,000 DPI Optical Sensor - Wireless Rechargeable by John Douglas

Revainrating 5 out of 5

This is a gaming mouse, and that's exactly what it needs.

I have written many reviews of Corsair products not through Revain, but this one of the few here justifies my appreciation and commitment to their brand. As far as I know Corsair and their peripherals are well built and just work. I can safely say that in some cases the software just doesn't recognize them and asks you to unplug and plug them back in, but that's not a big deal if you have access to rear USB hubs. As many have said, this mouse is not for big boy hands. Luckily I have medium to small hands in terms of size so it fits my hand perfectly. But let me break it down into pros and cons like I usually do in reviews: Pros: + Absolutely worth every penny; It works the way it has to and doesn't require more than the buttons it has including page forward/back, a DPI 6 button that can be configured with iCUE to do other things like play/pause audio players + To do the rest areas the thumb and side fingers are rubberized for a comfortable grip and Razer needs to adapt to that in its products+. Some might see this as a disadvantage, but I prefer it for FPS, MOBA, and graphic design. Cons: - The mouse is small as mentioned and that can be a problem even for me; The position of the claws for your hands makes this mouse great, but lying flat or in the "hands rest" position is a nightmare and even I'm having trouble getting used to it when I'm not gaming - the Length of the USB cable is pretty short in my opinion; can be a big problem for people who keep their towers under a table or sit to their left - DPI adjustments can't be made out of range, meaning there are preset increments of 250 dpi (I prefer somewhere between 600 and 675). Summary: I can't comment on how well Corsair has performed with their products over the past 4-5 years and I will continue to support them as long as they continue to develop such qualities. Of course, not every product Corsair makes is 100% or even 90% up to my standards, but since it's one of the best I've tried, I won't go back to Razer when it comes to mouse and keyboard. Corsair's RMA return process for my Saber RGB (a mouse I would rate 5/5 and really should check out) proving that they are not always 100% committed but are committed to their customers and their products withstand years of work can justify my point of view.

Pros
  • This is amazing
Cons
  • Some bugs
