Used to create an additional FOB for a 2010 Nissan Altima. I started with an original working Nissan FOB. I followed the instructions but it didn't work the first time. My machine has never gone into programming mode. My original FOB didn't start the car but the car recognized it when put into port. Called roadside assistance who disconnected my battery and then reported me to a locksmith the next day. I figured it wouldn't hurt to repeat the process again and it would actually work. For some reason my door opened in the middle of the process, I had to re-lock all the doors. In the end my original FOB worked and a duplicate was made. If I had to do it all over again I would just pay the dealer or locksmith as long as I have 1 working key. This is a very risky task because once you get confused you have no idea what went wrong. This product would be great if it had more instructions and some tips on how to fix common errors.
