Bought a few months ago. The price has come down and even better. If the printer indicates that the toner is empty, it doesn't. You can still print for a long time. The black toner finally ran out and I replaced it yesterday. First you need to take the chip out of your old cartridge and put it in it. This task is tedious. Removing the old one is easy, but putting this tiny chip in a small space is tricky. First, it won't fit. This is done so that it stays put when it's supposed to "snap into place". Well I thought I would break it or the cartridge would try to snap it. Second, when you take the chip out, look at its orientation to make sure you didn't put it in upside down. Third, I placed the top of the chip in the slot away from me and then, using the included pliers, took the tip and carefully pulled the edge of the new chip space closest to me just enough for the chip to start falling into place and then with push in with the supplied tweezers. After that it was easy. Remove tabs and inserts, load into printer, run and print. The print quality is perfect. I haven't replaced the color cartridges yet as they still have a lifetime. Since the chip you are using indicates that the toner has run out, it will continue to indicate this. You just ignore it and type. Hopefully there will be some post-factory chip toner cartridges coming soon, but until then this is a great way to save around $600!
